Two Exciting Rumors and Some Bad News

From Surfer Girl, a video game rumor blogger that seems to have a decent track record:

2) The Mother/Earthbound series is coming to Wii and/or DS stateside, very possibly next year.
3) Team Ico is working on two titles (maybe three), one major and the other(s) smaller. The smaller one(s) is/are more like Echochrome and does/do not take place inside the Ico canon.

Both of these rumors are really exciting, and I hope they’re true. Team Ico brought us Ico (obviously) and Shadow of the Colossus. As for Mother/Earthbound, I’m curious if this is a new title, Virtual Console stuff, or a DS port of Mother 3. I wonder where this will leave the current fan translation project…

Game|Life reported some terrible news for Mega Man and Smash Bros fans. In the Bionic Commando podcast, Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune said:

Nintendo hasn’t asked me yet if they can use MegaMan in their game. I’m still waiting…we have a little bit of time left, it’s not coming out for another few months. They might get around to asking us if we’d like to put MegaMan in Super Smash Brothers. Maybe if somebody from Nintendo is listening to this podcast, they’ll give me a call.

If this is just misdirection, that’d be awesome. However, this is most likely true. Sucks, eh?

Site Move Success

So, I’ve been avoiding writing for two reasons.  Yes, one of them is that I’m lazy.  The other was that I had to move the site due to a really stupid technicality with my service provider.  In moving, my domain name stopped working for a while, and I spent a couple weeks trying to get their tech support to fix it.

Anyways, it seems to be fixed now, and the domain is pointing to the right webspace and the right database.  Back to business as usual.
